Cookie Policy

What are Cookies and what are they for?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on the device through which you access a site, more specifically, through the browser used for that purpose, and which collect information related to your browsing on that site.
The main function of cookies is to facilitate and personalise your browsing experience, but, this not being the only reason for their use, they also serve other purposes, namely, helping us prevent fraud, optimise our services, and identify your preferences so that we can present you with ads and offers tailored to your interests.

What information is collected through cookies?
Cookies and other similar technologies collect:

  • Traffic and location information, such as your IP address (Internet Protocol Address), your location captured through a Global Positioning System (or GPS system), the Wi-Fi access points and mobile network antennas covered by your device;
  • Access and session information, that is, the number generated to identify you as a user in a session on a given site (Session ID), the login date and the most searched words;
  • Information about the device, detecting, for example, which operating system and browser are used, the date and duration of the visit to the site, and identification of other sites visited;
  • Information relating to user behaviour, such as, for example, the number of clicks made and the most visited pages.

What types of Cookies exist?

There are session cookies (temporary duration) and persistent cookies (long duration).
The former are used only for the period during which you browse a given site, after which they are deleted, and which allow you to keep browsing that site without having to log in again, even if you change pages.
The latter remain stored on your device even after you finish browsing the site, and are intended to allow you to return to that site without the settings you initially defined, such as language, changing on that new visit.
Cookies can also be categorised according to the various purposes associated with them, regardless of whether they are first-party cookies (cookies installed by the site you are visiting) or third-party cookies (cookies installed by sites other than the one you are browsing).

Cookies used on our Website:

  • Necessary Cookies: These cookies are always used, regardless of your consent, as they are strictly necessary for the site to function properly. Necessary cookies aim to ensure operability, optimisation and security, and are, as a rule, persistent cookies.
  • Preference Cookies: This type of cookie stores user preference settings, such as language, so that you don't have to configure them every time you browse the site; they identify the user through a unique identification number (ID), associated with the login time, allowing you to browse the site or other web pages open in the browser without having to constantly log in; and they allow the number of visits to the site to be counted, by collecting users' IP addresses, thus making it possible to carry out statistical studies on the quality of the service provided on that site. By their nature, these cookies may be temporary, although they tend to be persistent.
  • Analytics/Statistics Cookies: These are cookies that make it possible to quantify the number of users of a site and analyse their behaviour, in order to define strategies for improving the service provided. As a rule, these are third-party cookies.
  • Advertising/Marketing Cookies: This type of cookie aims to collect information about the use made of the site (e.g., clicks made and ads most viewed), making it possible to identify user preferences so that the advertising directed at them matches their interests. These are mostly persistent cookies.

How can I disable cookies?

The user has, at any time, the possibility of configuring their browser to accept all cookies, to be notified when a cookie is issued, or to not receive any cookies.
How you do this depends on the browser (web browser) you use. If you disable them, you may not be able to access all sections of the site.

Consent and withdrawal of consent

By browsing and continuing on our site, you are giving your consent to the use of the cookies referred to above, for the periods indicated and under the conditions set out in this Cookie Policy.
If, at any time, you withdraw your consent regarding this Cookie Policy, you should delete the cookies stored on your computer equipment, through the adjustments and settings of your internet browser.
